Seasonal Schedule

Please download this seasonal guide as we begin a new liturgical year!

“The Living Word of Advent & Christmas” grows out of a collaborative project with Fr. Eric and Pastor Aaron Anderson of Living Word Community Church. The guide is filled with helpful information, practical suggestions, and devotional resources to live as fully as possible into the Church Calendar. At heart, it represents an invitation to enfold the story of our faith — the living Word — into our daily prayer. To that end, you’ll find a calendar of assigned lectionary readings for each week and a brief version of the daily office along with introductory devotionals and corresponding invitations to prayer and reflection.

Click the button above to download your copy, and join us as we begin a new year of worship, fellowship and service with Christ’s living Word.

For over 250 years

the people of St. John have maintained a rhythm of worship & praise of God in Christ. At our best, we are:

An oasis of God’s love in a confused world.

A beacon of Christ’s light within our city.

A dwelling place for the Kingdom of God.
